Step behind the “Safe Haven” memorial in Harwich and discover the story of the Kindertransport. On the brink of World War II, nearly 10,000 Jewish children were sent from Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia to the United Kingdom in a desperate attempt to save them from the horrors of Nazi persecution. This short animated video introduces us to Lizzie, a teenage guide who brings the past to life. As she steps out from behind the memorial, Lizzie invites viewers to reflect on the courage of the children who arrived alone, the heartbreak of families torn apart, and the hope that took root on this very shore. The “Safe Haven” statue in Harwich marks the moment when their lives changed forever—when fear gave way, however briefly, to safety. But for those children, this was just the beginning. Brought to life with Silueta’s signature blend of emotional storytelling and historically grounded design, the video draws inspiration from wartime British graphics to give voice—and vivid color—to a story the world must remember. - ► Follow us on Vimeo and subscribe to our YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/SiluetaCreativeHouse?sub_confirmation=1 Want to see more whiteboard animation videos? ⭐️ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/SiluetaCreativeHouse ⭐️ Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/silueta ⭐️ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/silueta.films ⭐️ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/silueta

Silueta created this animated film for the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute, exploring David Ben-Gurion’s views on women’s rights and gender equality, from his commitment to equal citizenship and women’s participation in public life to the contradictions between his progressive ideals and traditional views on family and motherhood. Through expressive, period-inspired animation and engaging visual storytelling, the film brings historical figures, personal relationships, and pivotal moments in Israel’s early history to life. Balancing historical context with a contemporary perspective, Silueta transforms a complex social issue into an accessible and thought-provoking story that invites viewers to reflect on how far gender equality has come and how much remains to be achieved.

Produced for Karin Bjornson, "Hate Stinks" is a bold and impactful animated series that speaks to teens in their own language - and reveals how a “harmless” joke about Jews can quickly spiral into something hateful and ugly. In each short episode, a character throws out a seemingly casual antisemitic comment. When no one stops them, the remarks escalate - until the character physically transforms into a sweaty, stinky, pathetic little ball. And in the end? The same people who laughed at first now back away in disgust. The character is left alone. Isolated. Reeking. Confused. With a playful, cartoonish style inspired by classic Saturday morning animation and exaggerated humor, the series delivers a sharp message: hate may start with a joke, but it always ends with rejection. ⸻ Silueta is a creative animation studio specializing in educational, experiential, and historical content for museums, commercial companies, and international organizations. Over the past decade, the studio has produced dozens of original films combining animation and live action for clients such as the United Nations, the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and more. Silueta is known for making complex ideas accessible to diverse audiences through compelling storytelling, a unique visual language, and a tone that’s emotional, human, and deeply resonant.
